New Compilation Includes Supplier (Contractor) Benefits from Modern FM Technology
SCHAUMBURG, Il. (PRSM Mid-Year Conference, Table 172) – Sept. 28, 2016 – ServiceChannel, the leading SaaS service automation platform for facilities managers and contractors, today announced that it has been featured as a contributor in the 2016 Best Practices book of retail facilities management case studies published by the Professional Retail Store Maintenance Association (PRSM), the authority on retail, multi-site facilities management. The book is designed to help the industry improve the bottom line at retail stores, by strategically driving efficiencies through effective retail facilities maintenance business practices.
The 2016 Best Practice, “Supplier (Contractor) Benefits from Modern FM Technology” by David Markowitz, Senior Director, Product Marketing, ServiceChannel describes four major areas in which contractors are realizing benefits from FM software: compliance, mobile, billing and scorecarding. Suppliers can apply these benefits to increase efficiencies by centralizing their compliance and invoicing to better handle their clients requirements.
This year’s publication features 51 case studies that cover more than 20 different categories including janitorial, pest control, building automation systems and electrical and lighting. Several of the best practices in this year’s book focused on energy efficiency and how automated systems are revolutionizing the retail facilities management industry.
“The Best Practices Book is one of the most highly anticipated PRSM resources. The publication exemplifies what can happen when facility management professionals share their knowledge, case studies and processes,” said Bill Yanek, CEO of the PRSM Association.
“The facilities management industry continues to evolve in part because FM Leaders share and implement new best practices,” says Randolph Carter, VP Marketing – North America, Rentokil, sponsor of the 2016 Best Practices Book. “We are proud to support the 2016 PRSM Best Practices Publication as it provides an avenue for these essential practices and case studies to be shared.”
PRSM Association’s 2016 Best Practices Book is available in limited print edition and online for PRSM members at www.prsm.com.
