ServiceChannel Relaunches Fixxbook Website with New Look and Enhanced Functionality
New York City, NY, July 30, 2012 — ServiceChannel Inc. has relaunched its Fixxbook website at http://www.fixxbook.com with a fresh new design and enhanced functionality. Developed by Fixxbook’s experienced production and marketing teams, along with Path Interactive, the new website embodies the company’s commitment to modern web design while expanding the product’s capabilities, which has made Fixxbook the leading commercial contractor management service provider for the facilities management industry.
“One key upgrade of the site is the ability to find commercial contractors through using the site’s ‘light’ search function. Prior to the relaunch you had to register before you were able to conduct a search through our commercial contractor directory. Now we’ve made it easier for non-registered users to view light results, with deeper information available to those who register” said Eric Schechter, President of Fixxbook. Schechter and his team worked hard to migrate the site to a new platform and refresh the personality of the brand while adding in new features like the “Get Work” page where contractors can apply to Open Invitations from prospective clients. Another new product, Fixxbook Tradesmen, enables contractors to manage the credentials of their individual staff.
A significant amount of analysis and research went into the development of the new website. “We continually engage facilities managers and contractors in extensive dialogues to ensure that we’re delivering utility and value to all users of our contractor management services. Their feedback is crucial to the redesign process as it kept the focus on simplicity, form and function”, says Steve Keltz, ServiceChannel’s Chief Marketing Officer. That research extends to Fixxbook’s marketing collateral, bringing a fresh look to everything from tradeshow graphics to product sheets.
The relaunch of the Fixxbook website comes at a time of significant growth and product development, including the latest upgrades to Fixxbook; FixxbookPlus and Fixxbook Private Network, and a rejuvenated development team lead by Technology Directors Dmitry Amelchenko and Brian Engler. Further upgrades to the Fixxbook suite of contractor management software and services are scheduled throughout the rest of the year.
