Getting an invitation to join a provider network is exciting. It means you’re on your way to more business from a top-tier customer. Act promptly to meet your new customer’s unique requirements — insurance, dispatch preferences, rates, trades, licenses and more — to help create a good first impression and to start getting work orders.

Here’s a quick checklist to help you get off to the right start in no time.

  • When you receive a customer invitation email, promptly select ACCEPT
  • Login to your ServiceChannel homepage and select the “Clients” tab from the top menu. (As a reminder, you can always login from the button at the top of any ServiceChannel.com page).
  • On your home page, from the invitations list, select the client and click RESPOND.
  • Review the Invitation Details and select ACCEPT
  • You’ll see the client’s requirements checklist. Select “View Documents” for details, and complete any additional requests for information

Time-saving tip

To make it easy on yourself, simply select “Clone” and copy the information you entered for an existing customer for your new one. Then just edit the minor differences and you’re ready to take on new work.

Your customer will be notified automatically of your progress. To make a good first impression, consider sending your new customer a thank you note with an introduction to yourself and staff. Mention your unique skills and experience to let them know that choosing you for their network was the right choice.
