Register now to grow your customer base in Europe

ServiceChannel is expanding rapidly in the UK, Europe, and beyond. New customers are eager to find proven providers like you with ServiceChannel experience.

To comply with data hosting requirements, some of these customers are now being onboarded to a separate instance of ServiceChannel at servicechannel.eu, with its own data center in Germany and it’s own searchable provider directory.

To get discovered and grow your business with these customers, you need to register and create a provider profile on servicechannel.eu.

To remain compliant with local data protection laws and regional requirements, we’re not able to automatically create your EU account. It only takes a few minutes—you can use the same business information to make the setup easy.

Note that customers in the UK, Europe, and beyond continue to be onboarded to both .eu and .com. As a best practice, it’s important to be registered on both platforms.

This is a great opportunity to get discovered by and win more new customers without the cost and effort of your own marketing and sales.

FAQS

Why do I need to register on both servicechannel.eu and servicechannel.com?

  • Servicechannel.com, our primary platform that serves most of our global customers, is hosted in the US. However, many of our UK and Europe based customers are subject to data protection laws and internal policies that require their data to remain in Europe, and their contracts with us reflect theses data residency requirements. To serve these customers, ServiceChannel established servicechannel.eu with a dedicated data center in Germany.
  • ServiceChannel.eu is a totally separate platform, with its own provider registry and provider directory.
  • Today, UK and Europe based customers are hosted on one or the other platform, based on their data residency needs.
  • As a service provider, to work with and be discovered by EU customers on both platforms, you need to be registered on both platforms.

You already have my information and profile on ServiceChannel.com. Why can’t you just transfer the information for me?

Our US and EU systems are intentionally kept separate to meet regional data‑protection requirements and avoid unnecessary cross‑border data transfers. Because of this separation, we can’t automatically create your EU account using your US information. You need to actively register on ServiceChannel.eu to enter your business and profile information. Note it will take just a few minutes, and you can use the same information you have for ServiceChannel.com.

Can my registration on the two platforms be merged so I have only one place to manage work orders and make payments to ServiceChannel?

Unfortunately merging your ServiceChannel.com and ServiceChannel.eu accounts is not possible. If your two accounts were merged, your account on one platform would be associated with work order data from customers on the other, which could compromise data residency contractual commitments. For that reason, if you serve customers on both platforms, you need to establish, manage work orders, and make your payments to ServiceChannel from a separate account on each platform.

Will registering on ServiceChannel.eu in any way affect my current account or my existing or potential new customers on ServiceChannel.com?

Your current ServiceChannel.com account and your relationships with current customers or potential for getting new customers on ServiceChannel.com will not be affected by registering on ServiceChannel.eu. New customers continue to be onboarded to both platforms. So as a best practice, you should be registered on both platforms for maximum opportunity to win new customers.

Are there any differences in functionality, appearance, or the way work orders are managed between servicechannel.com and servicechannel.eu?

  • There are no differences for customers or providers in the functionality or appearance of ServiceChannel between servicechannel.com and servicechannel.eu.
  • The only difference is in where the data resides.
  • Note however, depending on the customer and their region — particularly in the UK — providers may be asked to take additional steps on either platform. For example:
    • Technicians may have to complete checklists prior to check-in to ensure safety precautions have been taken, or to acknowledge the presence of asbestos.
    • If your customer uses our Planned Preventative Maintenance Compliance feature, a valid from/to date on a piece of equipment, a compliance document, a compliance status, and/or some notes on needed remediation work may be required.

My company is not in Europe and does not serve customers in Europe. Why did I get this email?

Even if you are outside of Europe, some new customers throughout EMEA and in South Africa are also being onboarded to .eu instead of .com, so it is important for you to be registered on both platforms.
