Get Connected, Get Inspired: Beyond the Keynotes at ServiceX 2019

ServiceX 2019 is just around the corner. We’re gearing up to welcome over 300 industry leaders, executives, and facilities professionals to the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa on September 22, 2019. Our action-packed, three-day event features keynotes from Union Square Hospitality Group CEO and Shake Shack Founder Danny Meyer, Award-Winning Chef and TV Personality Jeff Henderson, and ServiceChannel CEO Tom Buiocchi – along with educational sessions, product updates, and plenty of fun in between. 

Set in the heart of Scottsdale’s stunning desert landscape, we expect this year’s event to be our best yet. We’re zeroing in on a topic that impacts businesses across all industries: customer experience – along with consumers’ rapidly changing expectations around store and restaurant appearance, functionality, and technology. This modernized brick-and-mortar experience is transforming the facilities industry, bringing about new attitudes and ideas around the role facilities play in brand awareness, customer retention, and ongoing business growth.

Sunday, September 22:

    • ServiceX Welcome Reception, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. 

The ServiceX Welcome Reception takes place poolside at the Omni Resort & Spa Kasbah Patio. Challenge your colleagues to a game of life-sized Jenga, Connect Four, miniature golf, or corn hole – or simply enjoy a cocktail, mingle with friends and co-workers, and watch the sun sink down over Camelback Mountain. 

ServiceChannel facilitators will be available at the receptions to connect you with other professionals in your industry, making it easy to network with potential business partners in a relaxed, social environment. The reception sets the stage for the topic we’ll be discussing at this year’s event: That an excellent customer experience starts with a beautiful space.  

Monday, September 23:

    • Bootcamp All Body Workout; Ride & Shine Cycling, 6:30 – 7:30 a.m. 

Calling all early risers: Get in a workout and start your day off strong. Choose from professionally-led All-Body Bootcamp to build strength and endurance or grab a bike at Ride & Shine Cycling for a dose of invigorating cardio. After sweating it out, enjoy breakfast on us and take in the early morning quiet before the first ServiceX sessions of the day. 

    • Birds of a Feather, 3:15 – 4:00 p.m. 

This informal session is designed to bring facilities and operations professionals together around the challenges they mutually face in their day-to-day. Choose the topic most relevant to you, find your group, and join in to brainstorm, share ideas, and discuss practical solutions:

 Our goal for these conversations is that everyone will walk away with inspiration to share with HQ, skills to add to their toolbox, and tips from peers for solving some of the industry’s toughest challenges. 

    • Stars & Stetsons Social, 5:30 – 10:00 p.m. 

Cap off your day of learning and networking with a lively barbeque and social at La Puesta Del Sol, a breathtaking desert venue located on the Fort McDowell Reservation. We’ll provide transportation to and from the event so you can unwind, try a prickly pear margarita (or two), and enjoy the music and entertainment beneath the open-air hacienda. 

Dust off your cowboy boots and get ready for a night full of authentic, Arizona fun – including cowboy games, pig races, and a chance to meet Bald Eagles, owls, and hawks with volunteers from the nearby Raptor Conservancy. Get creative at our branding station (think cattle, not marketing) and take home a personalized souvenir. Inspired by the desert sky? Take a closer look at the stars with on-site astronomers – and then watch us light up the night with an incredible grand finale.
